Site work for a civil project in Gurnee, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work generally consists of adding approximately 85 feet of 8" diameter ductile iron piping in bldg 050 to connect Primary Tanks 1-4 to 5-7. Two plug valves and a spool piece 20 feet long shall be installed. Replace five 6" check valves. Site Address: 14770 W. Wm. Koepsel Drive City: Gurnee County: IL State/Province: IL Question Deadline 04/15/2024 Bid Security: Bid Security in the Amount of Not Less Than 5% of the Bid Shall Accompany Each Bid In Accordance With the Instructions to Bidders. Contract Security: the Bidder to Whom a Contract is Awarded Shall Furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond Each in an Amount Equal to the Contract Price. Wage Rates: This Contract Calls for the Construction of a "public Work," Within the Meaning of The Illinois Prevailing Wage Act, 820 Ilcs 130/.01 Et Seq. ("the Act"). The Act Requires Contractors and Subcontractors to Pay Laborers, Workers and Mechanics Performing Services on Public Works Projects No Less Than The "prevailing Rate of Wages" (Hourly Cash Wages Plus Fringe Benefits) in the County Where the Work is Performed. Bid Rejection/acceptance: The Owner Reserves the Right to Reject Any and All Bids, Waive Informalities in Bidding, Or to Accept the Bid or Bids, Which Best Serves the Interests of the Owner. Bid Withdrawal: No Bid Shall Be Withdrawn for a Period of 60 Days After the Scheduled Opening of the Bids Without the Consent of Owner.
