Boiler Tube Replacement RFP The Warren-Newport Public Library District All inquiries must be in writing. Such written inquiries will be sent to the above email address. Response to such inquiries will be in writing. No inquiries will be accepted after 12:00 pm CST, Monday, April 29 Scope of Work 1. Remove inner and outer tube access panels from the Penthouse Bryan boiler 2. Pull all tubes from the boiler, remove from building, and dispose of per customers direction 3. Flush out upper and lower drums of loose debris and sludge 4. Burnish tube holes and clean with flap wheels 5. Furnish new set of boiler tubes and burnish tube ends 6. Tuckpoint firebox and upper tube walls, or if in bad condition, inform customer and present repair options. Upon decision: 7. Install new tubes using manufacturer's recommended sealant applied on tube ends 8. Fill and test boiler at operating pressure 9. Apply new fireside gasket material to inner panel and install 10. Reinstall outer tube access panel 11. Furnish at least 1-year parts and labor warranty
