The Louis Stokes Veterans Affairs Medical Center (LSVSMC) Cleveland, OH, has a requirement for Project 541-23-201, Provide Temperature and Humidity Controls to SPS Storage . The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and any other items required to complete project Provide Temperature and Humidity Controls to SPS Storage , at the Louis Stokes Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 10701 East Blvd., Cleveland, OH 44106, in accordance with the specifications and drawings. The Provide Temperature and Humidity Controls to SPS Storage project will include all construction requirements shown or implied in the Drawings and Specifications. This is a project that will bring approximately 32 Sterile Processing Services (SPS) secondary storage areas, located throughout the medical center, into compliance with the most recent requirements, especially temperature and humidity requirements. The renovation of the SPS rooms will bring all the SPS secondary storage areas into compliance with the latest Sterile Processing Services (SPS) requirements: Office of Construction & Facilities Management HVAC Design Manual Rev. November 1, 2021, https://www.cfm.va.gov/til/dManual/dmHVAC.pdf and VHA Directive 1116 and 1761. The National Program Office for Sterile Processing (NPOSP) will confirm the latest revision of VHA Directives 1116 and 1761. Review of the TIL library on the CFM website shall be reviewed to ensure compliance with the latest VA requirements https://www.cfm.va.gov/til/index.asp. Close coordination with the local SPD and SPS departments shall be included during design along with reviews from The National Program Office for Sterile Processing for all submissions in order to ensure full compliance with the most recent requirements. The VA will provide contact information with the NPOSP. The design shall include any temporary HVAC conditions that may be necessary to facilitate the project. This project will be solicited pursuant to the Veterans' First Program and Public Law 109-461 as a 100% Set-Aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). In accordance with Veterans Affairs Acquisition Regulation (VAAR) 852.219-10(c) (4), the SDVOSB Contractor or SDVOSB Sub-Contractor is required to perform a minimum of (15%) of the construction work on the project.
