The City of Powder Springs, Georgia is seeking competitive sealed proposals from qualified vendors to perform various repairs to the City's storm drainage system using trenchless technology. The City intends to use a portion of its American Rescue Plan Act grant to fund this effort. The deadline for submission of questions shall be 12:00 noon EST on Wednesday, April 3, 2024. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, and to waive any informality or technicality in bidding in order to purchase in the best interest of the City. The City is located approximately twenty-two miles west of Atlanta and approximately twelve miles southwest of Marietta. The City recently completed a comprehensive assessment of its storm drainage system and has identified a number of projects to be completed annually over the next ten years. To complete these projects, the City desires to hire one or more standby contractors and to issue work orders to the selected contractor(s) for specific projects each year. The cost for the individual projects will be based on the unit prices submitted by the selected contractor.
