Site work and paving for a road / highway in Smithfield Township, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check, bank cashier's check, trust company treasurer's check or bid bond (in the required form) for ten percent (10%) of the bid total. Work along Locust Street generally includes scratch course and 1.5" overlay starting at the Stover Ave. intersection and terminating near the Myerstown Borough line at a bridge over the Tulpehocken Creek. Before overlay, Work includes areas of 4" base repair. Work along Bungalow Street generally includes 2" milling and overlay of the full road width. Before overlay, Work includes areas of 4" base repair. Work along Lengle Road and Golf Road generally includes areas of base repair, involving 4" milling and 25mm base course. Bidders are advised that prevailing wage rates and record-keeping procedures established by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry shall apply for bids over $100,000 and that minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the Contract Documents shall be paid on the project. Jackson Township hereby reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all bidders, to reject any and all bids and to waive any omissions, errors, mistakes, defects or irregularities in any bid at its sole discretion.
