Renovation of a multi-residential development in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. Working plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
Replacement of the existing unit kitchen cabinets, accessories, fixtures flooring, and the relocation of the mail center at the existing Tamarack House Apartments, 2201 Erie Ave. Sheboygan, WI 53081 Base Bid Prices will be accepted for both Projects on the Bid Form included in the Project Manual. All work is to be included as one Lump Sum Bid for Base Bid #1, Unit Kitchen Cabinets Replacement and for Base Bid #2, Mail Room Relocation. All General, HVAC & Electrical work to complete the Construction Contract shall be included for both bids. Base Bid #3 will be accepted for all plumbing work required for sanitary and water lines to complete the kitchen cabinet replacement project. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids / proposals and to waive any informalities thereof. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 30 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The Requirements of Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968 apply to this project and that, to the greatest extent feasible contractors shall fulfill their obligation to utilize lower income residents as trainees and/or employees. * Reference Federal Register (33884-33887), June 30, 1994, Subpart 135.38. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the "Notice of Requirement for Affirmative Action to ensure Equal Employment Opportunity (Executive Order 11246) and Supplemental Instructions to Bidders" contained in the bid documents, which sets forth, in part, goals, and timetables for the employment of women and minorities in the project area. Contractors and subcontractors are required to pay not less than the prevailing wage rates established by the U.S. Department of Labor included in the project specifications.
