Weed Abatement Services. The contractor shall perform work outlined in this specification within the regular Public Works Operations work hours unless weekend work is needed. The City is seeking to award an initial three-year contract with up to two additional one-year extensions. The City of La Verne ("City") is seeking proposals ("Proposals") from qualified pesticide application contractors for a minimum two times per year Citywide weed abatement, minor insect and pest control on approximately 100 miles of City streets, vacant lots, slopes, open space, right of ways, and miscellaneous areas throughout the City of La Verne, under the direction of the Public Works Department. The City of La Verne is approximately 9 square miles and is a City in Los Angeles County.
