COMPLETION OF WORK: The contract duration, including active construction and materials procurement, shall be 20 working days. Upon determination of the apparent low bidder, the City will issue a Notice of Intent to award the contract. If the City Council chooses to award the contract, the City will execute the agreement, and a conditional Notice to proceed will be issued at which point materials shall be ordered. Work shall be completed expeditiously with the installation of the new booster pump and motor, new piping, and start up testing once the booster pump becomes available. At least 1 week prior to the booster pump and motor delivery date, the contractor shall coordinate with the City to begin all prep work has been completed and is ready for the final delivery/installation. It is anticipated that the project will be awarded after city council approval on August 19, 2024. The Agency reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in a bid, and to make awards in the interest of the City. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of 60 days after the bid opening.
