Site work and paving for a civil project in Quinte West, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The work involves the supply of all labour, equipment, and materials for the sanitary upsizing and subsequent reconstruction work on Old Wooler Road. This includes traffic control, jack & boring and installation of steel casing pipe under existing culverts, removal and installation of sanitary trunk sewer including its services and appurtenances, the removal of the existing watermain where required and the installation of new watermain including its services and all appurtenances as noted, the removal of the existing storm sewer where required and the installation of new storm sewer and appurtenances, rock excavation, dewatering, modification of existing Sanitary Manholes for new PVC (Sanitite) pipe, full depth asphalt removal, road base excavation, supply and placement of Type II Limestone Granular A & B, hot mix asphalt paving, topsoil and sod, and structure adjustments. The work is expected to begin September 4, 2024 and be substantially complete by November 29, 2024.
