The City is looking to partner with a Roofing Contractor to provide all labour, equipment and materials necessary to perform the completion of roof replacement, as per specifications and drawings at the following location: YMCA - 50 Monogram Place, Trenton The City owns the facility operated by the YMCA located at 50 Monogram Place, Trenton. Our partnership with the YMCA of Central East Ontario ensures diverse recreational and aquatic programs for all ages. The YMCA is a charitable organization that takes pride in its caring and welcoming staff, convenient hours, and affordable fees in a safe, family-oriented environment. The Trenton YMCA building requires a new roofing system for the section of the roof that covers the pools. This is identified as Area 4 on the contract drawings. The existing roof is mechanically attached. The membrane is fastened down into the structural deck. The new roof is to include fully adhering the roof system with an additional emphasis on securement patterns and full envelope of the roof - without holes or voids in the vapour barrier. The scope of work includes, but is not limited, to the following: Removal and disposal of the existing roofing system for Area 4, as shown on the contract drawings. Full removal of the existing underlayment board layer, and review of the existing steel deck. New roofing system as outlined in the contract drawings and technical specifications. Modification of the perimeters as shown in the contract drawings and technical specifications. Protection of interior, adjacent roof areas and exterior ground while the roof is under construction. Refer to Contract Specifications and Drawings, attached. The Contract shall take effect on the award (the "Effective Date") and shall be in effect until the project is substantially complete on September 30, 2024.
