As of May 9, 2025, general contractor has been awarded. Construction is expected to start in October 2025. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The City of Huntsville Water Utility in Huntsville, Arkansas is soliciting engineering services to upgrade and expand the city's existing wastewater treatment plant located at 30187 AR Hwy 23, Huntsville, Arkansas 72740. The project will be funded by the Clean Water State Revolving Loan Fund (CWRLF) program. The engineering services will be in accordance with the Arkansas Department of Agriculture Natural Resource Division's requirements for this program. Interested firms will be required to submit two (2) hard copies and one (1) electronic copy (pdf) of the Statement of Qualifications (maximum 25 printed pages, excluding cover and a one-page cover letter) for the project that includes: 1. Identification of the legal name, office locations(s), and principal owner(s) or partner(s) of the firm; 2. A statement of the proposer's understanding of the project and the requirements of the ANRD and the CWRLF program; 3. A list identifying the location, owner, cost, brief descriptions, and description of work which is comparative in nature to the project considered under this Statement of Qualifications; 4. A resume of the qualifications and experience of each member of the proposer's staff and any other technical consultants who may be employed for this project. Procedures for selection of a firm will be in accordance with federal and state procurement requirements. All responses will be evaluated in terms of specialized experience and technical competence, past-performance on similar projects, capacity, and capability of the firm to perform the work, and proximity to and familiarity with the project area. Expenses associated with the preparation and reproduction of the Statement of Qualifications will be borne by the submitting firm. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
