The City of Fort Lauderdale is seeking to contract the services of a variable frequency drive manufacturer with experience and expertise in the area of design, fabrication and installation of VFD modernization projects, within the scope of this IFB. The Procurement Services Division has "GONE LIVE" with a new supplier registration and strategic sourcing system. The Procurement Services Division has implemented an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. The ERP System is INFOR. As an enterprise system, one of the various modules is the Supplier Portal. The Supplier Portal is the gateway that allows for the City and Suppliers to connect and conduct business. The Supplier Portal is a one-stop electronic commerce exchange enabling suppliers interested in conducting business with the City to register as a supplier, respond to sourcing events/solicitations, and update their supplier information at any time.
