**As of April 24, 2024, project was awarded to TLC Olson Construction, LLC., in the amount of $1,182,286.40.** This project may be partially funded using American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds. Refer to the Instructions to Bidders section of the specifications for ARPA requirements. Bidders on this work will be required to comply with the President's Executive Order No. 11246 (Equal Employment) and the regulations in 41 CFR Part 60 - 1.4(b). The low responsive bidder must assure compliance with the requirements of Public Law 115-232, Section 889, Prohibition on Certain Telecommunications and Video Surveillance Services or Equipment. Contractors must assure that telecommunications equipment produced by Huawei Technologies Company or ZTE Corporation (or any subsidiary or affiliate of such entities), and video surveillance and telecommunications equipment produced by Hytera Communications Corporation, Hangzhou Hikvision Digital Technology Company, or Dahua Technology Company (or any subsidiary or affiliate of such entities) WILL NOT be supplied for the project. Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or draft of five percent (5%) of the amount bid, and issued by a State or National Bank and made payable to the City of Huron, or in lieu thereof a bid bond of ten percent (10%) of the amount bid. Such bond to be issued by a surety authorized to do business in the State of South Dakota, payable to the City of Huron, as a guaranty that the bidder will enter into a contract with the City of Huron, South Dakota.
