Saving Project...

Site work, new construction and renovation of a transportation facility in Nantucket, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility; for the construction of a 3,500-square-foot, one-story above grade transportation facility; and for the renovation of a transportation facility.

The Town of Nantucket, acting through the Nantucket Memorial Airport, is requesting proposals from qualified contractors for a new single story, Type V construction, modular dormitory structure encompassing 3,500 sq. ft. of finished space over a full unfinished basement and foundation. Interior spaces will include eight sleeping rooms with ensuite baths, common living area, dining, laundry, kitchen and common spaces. A one-bedroom apartment is also included. Contractor shall provide sitework, driveway, utility connections, plumbing, HVAC, electrical and all trades to complete the project. Estimated Cost $6,300,000 Services Commence: June 22nd 2024 Final Construction Completion Date: On or before June 4th, 2025 A qualified modular building manufacturer shall supply the weather-tight shell for the project. DCAMM certificate may be Modular/Prefabricated Construction or General Construction.
