East St, will replace the existing school. The new school will be constructed on the field south of the existing school for 575 K-5 students in a new three-story, steel frame,105,750 GSF Net Zero building. The existing school will remain active during construction. Contract work includes photovoltaic panels and a ground source heat pump HVAC system. Soil improvements are being performed under a separate contact and are scheduled to be substantially completed before the start of construction under this contract. The Project consists of but not limited to: A new elementary school building to replace the existing Fort River and Wildwood school on the existing Fort River school site, which will remain in operation during the construction. Upon occupancy of the new building, the existing Fort River school shall be demolished and the site work completed.
