The purpose is to obtain proposals from qualified vendors to efficiently manage residential and commercial solid waste. Louisville and Wrens aim to achieve uniformity, collaboration, and competitive pricing by issuing this joint RFP. Louisville has approximately 900 residential and 125 commercial accounts, while Wrens has around 1000 residential and 50 commercial accounts. Vendors are required to propose two collection methods: rear load truck with manual retrieval and ASL Truck. Pricing for extra cart fees and commercial dumpsters of various sizes is also needed. The Competitive Sealed Proposals method will be used, considering factors like customer service, capacity, environmental record, and past performance. Offerors must demonstrate timely customer service, financial capacity, rear and side load automation proposals, environmental record, and ability to fulfill responsibilities outlined in the RFP. Vendors must provide residential and commercial solid waste collection and disposal services, including monthly reporting of waste amounts and composition.
