The City of Pacifica is accepting sealed bids/proposals for Lower Linda Mar Repair and Rehabilitation Project Construction Management Services The Lower Linda Mar Rehabilitation and Repair Project is a sanitary sewer pipe bursting and manhole replacement/rehabilitation project. The Project is broken into three components: a base bid component (Base Scope) and additive bid item components. The Project will develop bid documents for both elements. Furthermore, the Project will bid both elements, and based on the bidding climate, determine how much of the additive bid items can be constructed. The consultant for construction management and inspection services (CM Consultant) will provide construction management and construction inspection services for the Project. Question Submission Deadline: April 15, 2024, 5:00pm Question Response Deadline:April 19, 2024, 5:00pm The LOWER LINDA MAR REHABILITATION AND REPAIR PROJECT C044 includes replacing sewer mainlines throughout the Lower Linda Mar neighborhood in the City ofPacifica (City). The approximate length ofsewer mainlines to be replaced are listed below: o Base Bid = 18,359 linear feet o Additive Bid Item #1 = 3,450 linear feet o Additive Bid Item #2 = 7,048 linear feet The project includes replacement of existing sanitary sewer mains with pipe bursting and open trench construction methods. New sanitary sewer piping ranges from 8-inch to 16-inch HDPE pipe for pipe bursting methods, and 8-inch to 12-inch for open trench methods. The work includes reconnection ofsanitary sewer laterals, connection to existing manholes, construction of new manholes, manhole modifications, manhole rehabilitation, and lamp hole replacement. The project includes, but is not limited to the following additional items: o Bypass pumping and/or routing ofsewage. o Prepare and implement a water pollution control plan (WPCP) and site protection. o Traffic and pedestrian control o Dewatering and the construction of all temporary shoring and slope protection measures. o Replacement of disturbed landscaping, private improvements, curb & gutter, sidewalks, curb ramps, monuments, AC pavement restoration, and other miscellaneous items
