The Department of Technology, Management, and Budget (DTMB) is requesting professional architectural and engineering services for design and construction administration (Phases 400, 500, 600, and 700) for the renovation of four (4) existing hydraulic passenger elevators and one (1) hydraulic freight elevator in the headquarters building of the Michigan State Police at the State Secondary Complex. The project will consist of removal and replacement of existing elevator machinery, controls, accessories, and the renovation of the existing elevator cabs. The renovation work shall include work on the existing building fire protection systems (fire alarm/ smoke detection, automatic sprinklers). The professional services contractor shall include the services of an elevator consultant for both design and construction administration services. The design and construction administration services shall be performed for the ongoing occupancy of the building during construction, including use of some elevators at all times.
