The scope of services expected to be required include, are design, permitting, bidding, award, construction administration, and construction inspection services for the improvements to be performed for new Western Force Main and Western Lift Station Improvements. The improvements will consist of, but may not be limited to: o Western Force Main Phase 3 from Wickham Road to John Rodes Boulevard o Force Main on John Rodes Boulevard o Western Lift Station and associated pumps, piping, and controls o Upper Croton Road Force Main from Lift Station 6 to Sarno Rd o Lift Station 23 Force Main to the Western Force Main o Additional Wastewater Force Mains or Gravity Sewer Necessary to Complete Overall Improvements In accordance with F.S. 287.055 and the City's standard selection procedures, the City of Melbourne is soliciting for professional consultants to provide engineering services for the following project: ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR WESTERN FORCE MAIN AND LIFT STATION IMPROVEMENTS The City of Melbourne is requesting Statements of Qualifications for the professional engineering services related to the Western Force Main and Western Lift Station Improvements The scope of services expected to be required include, are design, permitting, bidding, award, construction administration, and construction inspection services for the improvements to be performed for new Western Force Main and Western Lift Station Improvements. Projects may be included in a phased approach based on available funding in the approved fiveyear capital improvement project budget. Attached for your reference is a copy of the City's current five-year capital improvement projects (CIP) list. The primary service being required is professional engineering; therefore, the firm must have an Engineering Certificate of Authorization in the State of Florida. The firm must demonstrate individual and company experience specific to wastewater collection, force mains, sanitary transmission main and lift station design. Consultants must be experienced in providing evaluation, planning, design, permitting, construction administration, and project management services for the above-mentioned types of projects.
