This Project involves the construction of a proposed dog park on the 15-acre parcel within West Norriton Township. The work includes clearing and grubbing of existing vegetation, removal of invasive plant species, rough and fine grading of the dog park area, walking trails, a paved parking lot, installation of shade structures and fencing, and landscaping throughout the site. Utility improvements consist of new water service and extension of an existing electric line. Stormwater improvements include the construction of three (3) storm- water basins with associated stormwater inlets and piping and streambank stabilization of a tributary to Stoney Creek. All materials, labor, and equipment necessary shall be in accordance with online Publication 408 and Township Standards. Each bid shall be submit- ted in accordance with Article 15 of the Instructions to Bidders and Document 00 21 13 Instructions - Submitting Electronic Bids For This Solicitation and must be ac- companied by a Bid Bond or Certified Check for not less than ten percent (10%) of the Bid amount payable to West Norriton Township along with an Agreement of Surety certifying that the required Performance and Payment Bonds will be provided to the Bidder. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish proof of insurance and bonds for Performance, Payment, and Maintenance in such form as meets the approval of West Norriton Township and having as security thereon such Surety company or companies as are approved by West Norriton Township. The project is subject to applicable provisions of Act 422, PA Prevailing Wage Act as amended and the prevailing minimum wage rates issued by the PA Dept. of Labor and Industry. In addition, the requirements of the West Norriton Township Responsible Contractor Ordinance will apply for this project. No Bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the date set for the opening of the bids. West Norriton Township reserves the right to reject any and all bids for any cause whatsoever, to eliminate any item or items from the con- tract, and to waive any informality in the bids.
