As of May 7, 2024, This project has been awarded to Wayco Inc, with the awarded amount of $118,669.60. Texas Township, Wayne County, PA will receive sealed bids, in the manner and the place further identified in the Instruction to Bidders for the Lakeside Drive (T-479) Paving Project as indicated in the RFP. A Prevailing Wage determination has been requested from the PA Department of Labor and Industry and Prevailing Wage Rates apply to this project. The determination is included in the complete RFP. The project briefly described is: Pavement overlay of a +-3,000 LF section of Lakeside Drive (T-479) from Terrace Street to the Cherry Ridge Township line, and the replacement of two (2) Corrugated metal pipes with new HDPE pipe. Bids may be held by Texas Township for a period not to exceed thirty (30) days from the date of Bid Opening for the purpose of reviewing the Bids and investigating the qualifications of the Bidder, prior to the award of the Contract. Texas Township will award the bid to the lowest responsible bidder, reserving the right to waive any informality and accept or reject any and all Bids. A bid bond for 10% of the base bid amount shall be provided with the bid. Performance and Payment bonds in the amount of 100% of the contract amount shall be provided by the successful bidder within 20 days of the award. Any questions regarding this solicitation shall be submitted via the "Questions" feature within online no later than Monday April 8, 2024 at 4:00 PM.
