This solicitation is an Invitation for Bids (IFB) for a contractor to provide landscape maintenance services at Siesta Beach and Phillippi Estate Parks. Question Submission Deadline:April 17, 2024, 5:00 pm All conferences and site visits will take place at the time, date and location specified below. This timeline is subject to change. Failure by a Bidder to attend a mandatory pre-bid conference or site visit will result in their bid being considered non-responsive. When applicable, Bidders are advised to visit each location to familiarize themselves with all work areas. Failure to do so will in no manner relieve the Bidder from furnishing materials or services that may be required to carry out and complete the contract in accordance with the intent of the specifications listed herein. Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to provide landscape maintenance services at: i. Siesta Beach 948 Beach Road Sarasota, FL 34242 Park hours: 6:00 AM - 10:00 PM ii. Phillippi Estate Park 5500 South Tamiami Trail Sarasota, FL 34231 Park hours: 6:00 AM - 10:00 PM Contact Information Frank Berger Procurement and Contracts Specialist Email: fberger@scgov.net Phone: (941) 404-6334 Maintenance of all landscaping, including but not limited to, trees, shrubs, palms, ground covers, lawns, and annual and perennial plants, is required to maintain these locations year-round. Asset maps for each location are included herein as Attachment A - Siesta Beach Asset Map and Attachment B - Phillippi Estate Park Asset Map. Questions asked at a pre-bid conference will be formally answered via an addendum. Bidders shall not rely on oral communications. Sarasota County (County), a political subdivision of the State of Florida, will receive bids for the purpose of selecting a supplier to provide landscape maintenance services at Siesta Beach and Phillippi Estates Parks as stated herein The County anticipates awarding a Term Contract for an initial contract term of three (3) years.
