The successful offeror will be required to furnish a performance bond in accordance with Chapter 2253, Government Code, in the amount of 100% of the total contract price in the event that said contract price exceeds $100,000 and the successful offeror will be required to furnish a payment bond in accordance with Chapter 2253, Government Code, in the amount of 100% of the total contract price in the event that said contract price exceeds $50,000. The construction covered by the contract documents shall be substantially completed within 300 Consecutive Calendar Days from the date specified in the Notice to Proceed issued by the City of Lubbock to the successful offeror. The estimated budget for the construction phase of this project is $8,000,000.00.
