Harlow Ridge Livestock Fence Replace Provide all labor, materials, equipment, and permits to construct approximately 3 miles of four-wire livestock fence at the Department's Asotin Creek Wildlife Area, located at the end of Harlow Ridge Road, Washington 99402, Coordinates 46.173719, -117.324511, in Asotin County. Engineer's Estimate: $150,000. Bid Bond: For bids of $35,000 or less, no bid guarantee is required. Bids greater than $35,000 shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond payable to the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife in an amount equal to at least five-percent of the bid as evidence of good faith and as a guarantee that, if awarded the Contract, the bidder will execute the Contract and give separate bond as required. BASIS OF AWARD The lowest responsive bid and responsible bidder is based upon the Base Bid. The Owner reserves the right to award the contract amount based on any or all of the bid items listed, to restrict the contract amount to the funds available, and to reject any or all bids for any reason whatsoever and waive informalities. PERIOD OF ACCEPTANCE All bids may be held 45 calendar days from bid opening date. There are four separate fence sections, Weatherly Unit, Tam Tam Ridge, Lick Creek, and Smoothing Iron/Harlow Ridge. Lick Creek and Tam Tam Ridge have been grouped together as one construction project. Livestock fence will be built using steel t-posts driven to a depth of 18"-24" approximately 12' apart. This will be a 4 wire fence with the top three being barbed wire and the bottom being smooth. The top wire shall be a maximum height of 42", and the clearance to the bottom wire shall be 16". Corner and stretch braces shall use 2 3/8" galvanized steel posts set in concrete. The project is in Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, and 17 of Township 8 North, Range 44 East depicted on the Pinkham Butte, WA and Harlow Ridge, WA USGS 7.5-minute topographic quadrangles.
