The Town of Chase City is requesting Bids for the expansion of the following Project: B Street Contract A Community Water System Improvement Project The advertisement is for a single contract. The Project includes the following Work but not limited to: o70 Ton of Asphalts Restoration o140 Ton of VDOT 21A Stone Shoulder Restoration and Beneath new pavement o1,619 LF of 4-inch PVC Water Line o246 LF of 2-inch PVC Water Line o2 EA of 4-inch Gate Valves o2 EA of 2-inch Gate Valves o10-inch x 4-inch Wet Tap Tee o6-inch x 4-inch Wet Tap Tee o3 EA 1-inch Air release Assemblies o4 EA 2-inch Blow Off Assemblies o 416 LF of 3/4-inch Water Service Tubing Bids are requested for the following Contract: B Street Contract A Community Water System Improvement. The Project completion time is addressed in the Agreement. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Upon the Issuing Office's receipt of payment, printed Bidding Documents will be sent. The shipping charge amount will depend on the shipping method chosen. Funding Requirements This is a federally assisted project. Bidders and contractors performing work under this Invitation to Bid are bound, wherever applicable, by the requirements of: President's Executive Orders #12138 and #11625 regarding utilization of MBE/WBE firms, and Civil Rights Act of 1964, Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968, Section 109 of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, as amended, Davis Bacon Act, Copeland Anti-Kickback Act, Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act, President's Executive Order 11246 as amended by Executive Order 11375, Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986. Further the bidder agrees to abide by the requirements under Executive Order No. 11246, as amended, including specifically the provisions of the equal opportunity clause set forth in the DHCD Contract Assurances and Certifications.
