Reference Number 0000347374 The SSLGC utility is a linear system because the water treatment plants are 25-miles southwest of Seguin and 45-miles southwest of Schertz. An exhibit that displays the overall layout of the SSLGC utility is enclosed. From time-to-time SSLGC has a need for contracted repair functions or maintenance functions. The purpose of the request for proposals is to establish menu pricing for utility repair or maintenance activities on the system. SSLGC is seeking quotes to establish an unspecified utility repair contract and right of way repair bid items. We also seek to establish time and material pricing for unspecified excavations that are occasionally needed. The successful contractor must be able to respond to emergency calls or situations within 4 hours. When called the contractor will identify their event contact. The Contractor's contact will meet with SSLGC staff to review the requirement and define the scope of the work to be done and the schedule for accomplishing the work. The contractor will provide an invoice with appropriate material receipts when the work is completed. The City of Seguin processes invoices twice a month. An adjustment in pricing is negotiable but the adjustment will not exceed 3% of unit price bid. The 20% mark up on materials purchased will not be adjusted.
