Site work and paving for a civil project in Seguin, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
24 Water Transmission Main Principal items of construction will include: Installing approximately 12,000 linear feet of 24" ductile iron water transmission main; approximately 6,900linear feet of20" PVC watermain; approximately 1,700 linear feet of 12"PVC water main, abandonment of sewer main and manhole, street repair, and all other appurtenances necessary for the complete Project. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check, or an approved bidders bond in an amount not less than 5% of the maximum total bid, payable to the City of Seguin, Texas without recourse, as a guarantee that the Bidder will enter into a contract and execute performance and payment bonds on the forms provided, within ten(10) days after the award of contract. The successful Bidder must furnish Performance and Payments Bonds each in the amount of100% of the contract price from an approved Surety Company holding a permit from the State of Texas to act as Surety and acceptable according to the latest list of companies holding certificates of authority from the Secretary of Treasury of the United States, or other Surety or Sureties acceptable to the Owner. The City of Seguin reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities. No bid may be withdrawn within nine- ty (90) days after the date on which bids are received.
