Site work for a transportation facility in Boston, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility.
The Massachusetts Port Authority invites sealed bids for the following: Repair and Maintain Airfield Turnstile and North & South Gate Airfield Entrances at Boston Logan International Airport. South Gate is a Bi-fold Gate, One (1) Bi-Fold Entrance Gate and One (1) Bi-Fold Exit Gate. North Gate is a Tilt Gate,One (1) Tilt Gate Entrance and One (1) Tilt Gate Exit . Four (4) Gates in total. Two (2) Turnstiles. Example of some work that may be needed: Hydraulic and Structural repairs. Work to be done during regular business hours. If overtime is is needed ocassionaly to complete a job that is acceptable with approval from Massport Manager. The pricing must be inclusive of any travel charge, gas etc. No travel charges permitted. The estimated contract cost is Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000.00). Bidding procedures and award of the contract shall be in accordance with the provisions of Section 39M, Chapter 30 of the General Laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. The successful general bidder will be required to furnish a Payment Bond in the amount of fifty percent (50%) of the contract sum. No less than the prevailing wage rates as set forth in the schedule contained in the Bid Documents must be paid on this project.
