Project Description: Subject project calls for a proposal to provide all labor, equipment, materials, and transport needed in performing all labor, equipment, and materials needed to install eighty-four (84) Magnetic Yellow Gorilla Posts with two horizontal white stripes throughout the three lanes at the CCSFS South Gate entrance. Position the posts for the first two lanes creating a serpentine traffic pattern. Install two (2) posts offset one (1) foot from the center of each lane under the canopy. Installed the posts with a magnetic base on either asphalt or concrete pavement with epoxy and screws in accordance with (IAW) manufacturer's instructions. Remove existing pavement striping within approximately one hundred and eighty (180) feet west of the guard canopies. Paint the existing curb surrounding facility 90320 white. Prepare and paint two (2) existing guard canopies' metal surfaces with yellow anti rust epoxy exterior paint to aid with driver visual recognition. Replace the existing metal guardrail. Restore damaged concrete and CMU to match existing conditions. Remove the damaged CMU and associated grout and install new CMU to match existing color and texture. Purchase ten (10) additional posts and four (4) gorilla post pullers for spares. (See Attachments 1, 2 and 3 for specific details).
