As of July 1, 2024 project was onhold due to over budget. Project was expected to Rebid on August 8, 2024. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: All work for the project shall be constructed in accordance with the Drawings and Specifications provided by Kimley-Horn and the proposed improvements will be awarded and constructed, if award is made, under one Construction Agreement. Bids shall be submitted for furnishing, delivering, and installing all plan materials, equipment and services. The proposed scope of work consists of paving and drainage improvements on Oak Lane Road from North Atlantic Blvd. to the cul-de-sac at the end of Oak Lane Road and within the drainage easement that is running from the cul-de-sac to the canal. The Oak Lane Road improvements will include paving, curb and gutter, drainage inlets/pipe and swales. AWARD OF CONTRACT(S): If the Contract is to be awarded, it will be awarded as defined in the City of Cape Canaveral's Code of Ordinances, Sections 2-218 Procedure. The Owner reserves the right to accept any or all additive or deductive alternatives at its sole discretion subsequent to award of the Contract. The Owner reserves the right to waive technicalities or irregularities, to reject any or all bids, and to accept that Bid which is in the best interest of the City, in the sole and absolute discretion of the City.
