All work for the project shall be constructed in accordance with the Drawings and Specifications provided by the City and the proposed operation and maintenance will be awarded and, if award is made, under one contracted Agreement. Bids shall be submitted for the daily operation and management, maintenance & repair call outs, general maintenance, general or emergency troubleshooting and repair of Splash Pad System and all associated components. The proposed scope of work consists of the maintenance of the Splash Pad at Canaveral City Park. A single bid shall be submitted for the Work. The contract will be awarded to a firm pursuant to the requirements of applicable state and federal laws and regulations. Bids shall be enclosed within a sealed envelope on the form provided in the Project Man. SPECIFIC CRITERIA: The Contractor performing this service shall have a strong background in providing a positive working relationship with Cities having a Council/City Manager type government and a history, knowledge and experience of performing commercial pool/spa/splash pad maintenance within the state of Florida, as well as the knowledge of keeping records and logs as required by the Florida Health Department. AWARD OF CONTRACT(S): If the Contract is to be awarded, it will be awarded as defined in the City of Cape Canaveral's Code of Ordinances, Sections 2-218 Procedure. The Owner reserves the right to accept any or all additive or deductive alternatives at its sole discretion subsequent to award of the Contract. The Owner reserves the right to waive technicalities or irregularities, to reject any or all bids, and to accept that Bid which is in the best interest of the City, in the sole and absolute discretion of the City.
