Project Overview: To solicit bids from qualified firms to provide all labor and materials to remove existing EZ Dock fishing pier and pile anchors and installation a new County provided ADA compliant EZ Dock Float System fishing pier and anchors The resulting agreements from this solicitation shall be non-exclusive and the services provided shall be on an on-call basis with no guarantee of work. Work Location: Beaverdam Park 8687 Roaring Springs Rd, Gloucester, VA 23061 Questions: Questions or comments regarding this solicitation shall be directed to the Buyer not later than 4:00 PM on April 11, 2024. All questions shall be submitted in writing (email is preferred). Bids in excess of $100,000 shall be accompanied by a bid bond or guaranty of five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid, which shall be a certified check, cashiers check If requested, the successful Bidder shall provide the County with an executed Commonwealth of Virginia Standard Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds, each in the sum of the contract amount, with the County of Gloucester as obligee. Accordingly, instead of requiring any such proof, the County and the Contractor agree that as liquidated damages for delay (but not as penalty) the Contractor shall pay the County Three Hundred ($300) U. S. dollars for each day that expires after the time specified for reaching substantial completion. An additional Three Hundred ($300) U. S The County reserves the right to reject any and all bids
