The City of Grand Rapids is seeking bids for Replacement of Lead Service Lines at VARIOUS LOCATIONS -The replacement of approximately 409 lead water service lines with copper water services from the water main to the water meter inside the property, 42 lead services on the City side only between the water main and curb stop, and 9 private side only services between the existing curb stop and water meter inside the the property. The project also consists of associated restoration of pavement, sidewalk, drive approaches, and lawn areas disturbed in connection with the water line replacement. Deposit: 5%% of bid amount For this project, the City of Grand Rapids Prequalification of Bidders and Subcontractors is waived and replaced with a Contractor's Qualification Statement that must be submitted as required in the bid documents. This project is funded in whole or in part by a loan through the State of Michigan. As such, the contractors and subcontractors will be required to meet all additional requirements of the Drinking Water Revolving Fund (DWRF) including but not limited to EPA's Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program; Debarment/Suspension Certifications; and Davis-Bacon Prevailing Wages.
