As of May 16, 2024 project was awarded to S & L Underground Inc., awarded amount is $3,022,320.52. The work for which bids are asked includes the following: Construction of 1,850 lineal feet of the new Olympus Road - Urban section road to include two (2) travel lanes, center two way turn lane, adjacent bike lanes, multi-use path, and sidewalk. Construction will be phased with the majority to be completed in Summer and the easterly end of the new roadway to start after Labor Day this year. Work items to support the street reconstructions include: - Clearing and Grubbing - Unclassified Excavation - Traffic Control - Erosion Control - Water Main - Sanitary Sewer - Storm Sewer - Asphalt Pavement and Base Course - Concrete Sidewalk and Multi-Use Path - Concrete Curb and Gutter - Metal Railing - Retaining Wall - Street Lighting - Pavement Markings and Signage - Turf/Site Restoration The anticipated substantial completion date is 11/15/2024 and final completion date is 05/16/2025.
