The City of Norwich would also like to note that if the CHIPS program is cut or reduced by the State of New York, that quantities and/or portions of the project will also be reduced in order to stay within the allotted funds received by the City of Norwich. Hale Street - (Birdsall Street to City Line) --- (Approximate total of 24,710 sq. ft. of milling and 346 tons of new HMA) 15. Magistro Drive - (Entire Street) --- (Approximate total of 20,592 sq. ft. of milling and 288 tons of new HMA) 16. Morse Avenue - (Entire Street) --- (Approximate total of 12,672 sq. ft. of milling and 177 tons of new HMA) 17. Northrup Avenue - (Entire Street) --- (Approximate total of 25,560 sq. ft. of milling and 358 tons of new HMA) 18. York Street - (Entire Street) --- (Approximate total of 10,560 sq. ft. of milling and 148 tons of new HMA) **Note: Contractor shall coordinate and obtain any required permits with the NYSDOT for all work in DOT Right of Ways. BID ALTERNATE WORK: Bid Alternate work that will be completed only if the City of Norwich is able to fund the work. BID ALTERNATE STREETS : 1. Canal Street - (Entire Street) --- (Approximate total of 9,715 sq. ft. of milling and 136 tons of new HMA) 2. Millings - (Credit for Contractor to Remove and Take All Millings Generated from the Project. Temporary Storage allowed at Borden Ave. Facility unit August, 31, 2024) --- (Approximate total of 407,075 sq. ft. of millings) **Note: All Work shall be scheduled to be completed between August 1, 2024 and August 31, 2024. The bidder(s), and /or significant subcontractor(s) shall have the requisite experience to perform the project work. Bidder(s) and subcontractor(s) shall provide a list a minimum of five (5) similar projects on-going and/or completed over the last ten (10) years with their bid. Those bidders lacking adequate experience will be deemed non-responsive and are encouraged to not submit a bid.
