Site work, outdoor lighting and new construction of a mixed-use development in Sunnyvale, California. Completed plans call for the construction of a 82,500-square-foot, one-story above grade educational facility; for site work for a educational facility; and playground / park / athletic field.

Project consists of a new elementary school on the site of the former Patrick Henry campus. The Work and Bid Packages. The Project is generally described as underground utilities, grading and an electrical switch gear for five buildings on a 10-acre site. The District intends to construct the Project by awarding contracts to prime contractors who are in direct privity of contract with the District for a specific scope of Work. Bid Proposals are requested for the following Bid Package (Contractors License requirement in parentheses): Bid Package 26.01 - Site Electrical and Electrical Switchgear (C-10) Bid Package 32.01 - Grading (A or C-12) Bid Package 33.01 - Site Utilities (A). Prequalification: Pursuant to Public Contract Code section 20111.5, only prequalified bidders will be eligible to submit a bid for this Project. A bid submitted by a bidder who is not prequalified shall be non-responsive and returned unopened to the bidder. The prequalification process will be facilitated by and independent firm utilizing an online application web site. Failure of any Bid Proposal to be accompanied by Bid Security in the form and in the amount required shall render such Bid Proposal to be non-responsive and rejected by the District. Bid Security must be submitted in one of the alternative means of Bid Security submittal described in the Instructions to Bidders. Payment Bond, Performance Bond. Prior to commencement of the Work, the Bidder awarded a Bid Package Contract must deliver to the District a Payment Bond and a Performance Bond issued by a California Admitted Surety in the form and content included in the Contract Documents in a penal sum equal to 100% of the Contract Price. Bid Proposals must include the premium cost of Payment and Performance Bonds. The District reserves the right to reject any or all Bid Proposals or to waive any irregularities or informalities in any Bid Proposal or in the bidding.
