Contract Award Date: May 14, 2024 Contract Award Number: 1240LN24P0018 Task/Delivery Order Number: Contractor Awarded Unique Entity ID: JNXEJ564JKC5 Contractor Awarded Name: RUFF COUNTRY FENCING LLC Contractor Awarded Address: Lewistown, MT 59457 USA Base and All Options Value (Total Contract Value): $32,904.30 Award to remove several miles of fence that are no longer needed and were abandoned years ago prior to the fire that need removed. This includes rolling up wire, pulling posts and hauling out all metal (posts, staples, clips and wire). Wood posts can be left on site. These fences WILL NOT be replaced under this contract. No PII/Confidential. The work shall consist of fence removal and disposal of approximately 27,885 ft. It will include roll-up and removal of all fencing material on identified segments of National Forest System Lands and disposed of in a lawful manner. The range fences consist of barbed wire fencing . Either 3 or 4 strand with either steel posts or wood. Some of it has been burned and some of it escaped the fire but is under downed trees which may involve use of chainsaws to remove downed trees on fences prior to removing fences.
