Renovation of a museum in Saint Marys City, Maryland. Completed plans call for the renovation of a museum.
The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and includes, but is not limited to, the following: 1. Installation of heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning (HVAC), furnishing and installation of the alter including premium grade custom interior architectural woodwork with decorative painted faux marble columns, and furnishing and installation of interior wood railings and pews of the Historic St. Marys City Chapel, as well as and other Work indicated in the Contract Documents. Project Location: 16721 Point Lookout Road, St. Marys City, MD 20686. Attached are the HVAC load calculations. It should be noted that this is a historic building and the scope of work is to just put in the largest physical size unit possible and that it will only provide whatever cooling/heating that it is capable of. The intent of this project is not to maintain a consistent 70-75 degrees F space temperature every day. It is just to put in whatever cooling/heating will work with the historic components of the building. The unit is set to run in cooling when the space temperature is above 75 degrees and run in heating when the space temperature is below heating. It is acknowledged that there will be days where the unit provided will not be able to maintain these setpoints.
