Demolition, site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Springfield, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; for the demolition of a playground / park / athletic field; for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field; and playground / park / athletic field.
Project is to renovate the tennis courts at Hubbard Park with new pavement, surfacing, fencing, landscaping and, installation of owner-supplied site amenities. Project includes demolition, paving, and site work. Estimated value of the contract is approximately $275,000.00 All questions regarding this bid or its specifications must be made in writing and received by the Office of Procurement no later than April 11, 2024 by 4:30 P.M. (nwalker@springfieldcityhall.com) in order to be considered. The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women (MWBE) participation in all contracts. Massachusetts Division of Occupational Safety and Federal Davis- Bacon Prevailing Wage rates apply. The Chief Procurement Officer/Designee reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
