The Vallecitos Water District (District) is soliciting proposals from professional tank commercial dive firms with substantial experience in the cleaning and inspection of potable water storage facilities. The contract will include cleaning and inspection services by a diver of the District's potable water storage tanks. Factors to be considered include equipment, price, warranty, references, and experience. The District will be the sole judge of the weights given these factors. The successful Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment (including hydraulic compressor), fuel, tools, licenses, bonds, and insurance necessary to perform the required services outlined in this RFB document. The cleaning and inspection will take place while the tanks remain in service. All persons and materials entering the tank/reservoir shall be disinfected in accordance with the standards outlined in AWWA C652-19 (Disinfection of Water Storage Facilities). The Contractor will always have a fully certified stand-by diver on-site while a primary diver is working in the tank.
