The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit proposals from qualified firms interested in providing the services necessary for providing a comprehensive water treatment program. This is a two-part RFP, with Part A - Molybdenum Conversion, (Section 4, Scope of Work, 1.2.2), to reestablish the existing system water to acceptable levels, and Part B - System Maintenance, (Section 4, Scope of Work, 1.2.3), to maintain the on-going system water to acceptable levels. Proposers may submit individual proposals for Part A, or Part B, or Parts A and B together. Part A and Part B will be contracted individually. Part A - Molybdenum Conversion, is a public works project and is subject to prevailing wage rate laws (General Provisions for Maintenance Tasks (Facilities Maintenance), Article 45). All Respondents/Proposers and all tiers of subcontractors who will work on this Project shall register to bid and work on public works projects with the Dept. of Industrial Relations (DIR), and maintain current this registration per Labor Code section 1725.5.
