The Southborough Public Schools is soliciting quotations for removing and replacing a section of flooring at the Mary E. Finn School. The successful vendor must supply all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to satisfy the requirements of this quote. Project details are as follows The schedule for the work must be agreed upon and remain consistent. The vendor must provide 24-hour notice to the District's Facilities Manager if the schedule needs to be changed. The vendor will resume work within 48 hours if the schedule is delayed due to weather, staffing, or other unforeseen circumstances. The vendor must provide a project timeline with the expected lead time for materials. The area of the floor requiring replacement is located in the preschool hallway on the east side of the building. The dimensions of the hallway are 8 (eight) feet wide and 230 (two-hundred and thirty) feet long or approximately 1,840 (one-thousand, eight hundred and forty) square feet of surface area. The tile and cove base samples must be provided to the District within seven (7) days of the contract award and before ordering. The current VCT flooring system will need to be removed and disposed of using renewable recycling methods and will need to be approved by the District.
