Requa Day Park Project Notice is Hereby Given That the Yurok Tribe is Requesting Sealed Bids From Qualified Construction Firms for the Building/renewal/remodeling of the Requa Resort. 1. The Scope of Work for the Requa Day Park Project Includes Ensuring Adherence to Safety Standards, Constructing a 30x30 Gathering Gazebo and Foundation, Installing a 10' High Screen Fence for Boat Dock Storage, Optimizing Parking Lot Striping, Installing Bollards for Safety, Setting Up Fire Pits and Bbq Pits With Stability Footings, Concrete Pads for Benches, Cleaning Campsites and Disposing of Debris, Upgrading Restroom Facilities, Painting Interior and Exterior Walls With Epoxy Paint, Pressure Washing Facilities, Installing Trash Bins With Bear Locks, Upgrading Lighting and Switches for Visibility, and Ensuring Compliance With Tero Tax, Bonding, and Insurance Requirements. 2. Qualifying Firms Are Asked to Submit a Narrative of Their Qualifications, Examples of Similar Projects, Team Resumes, and Pricing for Construction Services The Project Area is at the Requa Resort at the End of Mouth of Klamath Road Below the Requa Inn. 1. General Conditions: o Ensure adherence to all relevant safety and regulatory standards throughout the project. o Provide necessary documentation and permits for construction activities. 2. Shelter Structure: Construct foundation and one 30x30 gathering gazebo for shade and tables. o Ensure structural integrity and durability of the shelter. 3. Screen Fence: o Install 160 linear feet of 10' high screen fence to hide boat dock storage. o Utilize materials that blend with the park's aesthetics and environment. 4. Parking Lot Striping: o Stripe the parking lot to optimize parking space and traffic flow. 5. Bollards: o Install 24 bollards for safety and traffic management purposes. 6. Fire Pits and BBQ Pits: o Install six pre-engineered masonry fire pits (36" by FIREROCK) and six Pilot Rock Q-20 B2 20" charcoal grills. o Provide footings for BBQ pits to ensure stability and safety. 7. Campsite Cleanup and Debris Disposal: o Clean and clear campsites of debris and waste. o Dispose of debris in compliance with environmental regulations. 8. Restroom Facilities: o Install six new restroom fixtures, five partitions, and bath accessories. o Replace three exterior doors while retaining existing frames and hardware. 9. Painting: o Paint interior and exterior walls of park facilities approximately 832 square feet. o Apply epoxy paint on floors for durability and easy maintenance. 10. Clean and Pressure Wash: o Clean and pressure wash park facilities to maintain cleanliness and aesthetics. 11. Trash Bins with Bear Locks: o Install two trash bins with bear locks (BELSON Model: TB GRIZZLY) for waste management and wildlife protection. 12. Lighting and Switches: o Install new lights and switches for improved visibility and safety. 13. TERO Tax, Bonding & Insurance: o Ensure compliance with TERO tax requirements. o Provide necessary bonding and insurance coverage for the project. 14. Project Management: o Assign a dedicated project manager to oversee all aspects of the project. o Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure timely completion. o Monitor project progress and address any issues or concerns promptly. 15. Documentation and Reporting: o Maintain comprehensive records of all project activities, including permits, approvals, and inspections. o Generate progress reports to keep stakeholders informed of project status and milestones. o Document any changes or deviations from the original scope of work. 16. Environmental Considerations: o Minimize environmental impact during construction by implementing best practices for erosion control and waste management. o Dispose of construction waste in accordance with environmental regulations. Preserve and protect natural habitats and wildlife within the project area. 17. Closeout Procedures: o Complete all necessary closeout procedures, including final inspections and approvals. o Ensure proper documentation of project completion and handover to the client or relevant authorities. o Address any outstanding issues or deficiencies identified during the closeout process.
