This Negotiated Request for Proposals (the "NRFP") is an invitation by Town of Fort Erie and its participating agencies to prospective Proponents to submit proposals for Lion Sugarbowl Park Playground Equipment Design Build Lions Sugarbowl Park is an existing community park located at 100 Gilmore Road, Fort Erie, Ontario, L2A 3T8. The current park features a playground, newly constructed splash pad, a network of trails, a Dog Off Leash Area (DOLA), ponds, seating, and a future washroom building. This is one of the most popular parks in the Town of Fort Erie. The Town is seeking proposals from qualified play equipment manufacturers for the design, supply and installation of play equipment and surfacing. This playground redevelopment includes the replacement of the existing playground area with new play equipment and rubberized protective playground surfacing. The removal of existing equipment and surfacing, and the preparation of subgrade and surrounding curb is being completed by others. The focus of this NRFP will be on the quality and unique features of the play equipment. Proponents may consider coordination of the adjacent splash pad equipment designs.
