Site work for a mixed-use development in Rohnert Park, California. Completed plans call for site work for a clubhouse / community center; and pipeline.
The work is described generally but not limited to,trenching and replacing an existing gasservice line from the existing gas meter to the Community Center building, and all otherincidentalsto perform the work properly. Please refer Parts, Drawings, and Attachments for detailed information. The Contractor must begin work within fifteen (15) calendar days after official notice by the Project Manager to proceed with the work and must diligently prosecute the same to completion within 40 calendar days calendar days of that Notice. Per California Civil Code Section 9550, a payment bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the bid total will be required from the successful bidder for bids exceeding twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000). The bond must be provided within fifteen (15) calendar days from notice of award and prior to the performance of any work. A performance bond and bid bond must also be provided for bids exceeding twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000). The City reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to reject any or all bids, to re-bid, or to waive inconsequential defects in bidding not involving time, price or quality of the work. The City may reject any and all bids and waive any minor irregularity in the bids.
