See attached mapping of area and verify exact locations and quantities in field. Provide tentative schedule for work and completion date. Provide traffic control plan and personnel as needed. Conform to all state and federal regulations. Work for this scope of work is to be completed per all California codes and specifications. All overlay asphalt shall be installed to provide draining of water off edges and minimal ponding of water. Overlay should not encroach on any underground utilities however all tree root removal and existing tie ins will need to have underground utilities reviewed prior to work being done. All manholes, valve boxes, electrical boxes in existing pathways shall be flush with pavement. Provide mix design for 2" overlay using 1/2 or 3/4 " aggregate. Grind all start and end points of existing pavement edges for smooth transitions, use tack coating on all existing edges and remove debris off campus. Grind / Remove sections of existing roots currently lifting existing walk path and remove off campus. Provide any necessary signage, barricades needed to keep unauthorized personnel out of work area. Any existing signage, sprinkler piping / system, electrical will be repaired or replaced if damaged. The existing surface shall be swept clean of all dust, dirt, and other loose material with hand brooms or through the use of approved mechanical sweepers. Where existing dust and dirt cannot be satisfactorily removed by brooming, it may be necessary to flush the asphalt surface with water. If flushing is necessary, the Contractor shall furnish the necessary equipment for flushing. All storm drain must be protected from any water intrusion.
