**As of May 14, 2024, the project was awarded to ATK Construction, Inc. of Hubbard, OR - total amount $422,777.08.** Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received by Clark County, Washington for: Project No. 0002920, Moulton Falls Pedestrian Bridge. Description of work: This project will repair, restore, and paint the exterior of the glulam arch bridge that is located on the trail that crosses the East Fork Lewis River at Moulton Falls Regional Park. Primary bid items: Structural carbon steel, salt-treated timber and lumber, replace/tighten fastener components, adhesive injection sealant, cleaning and painting, timber protective coating, containment of abrasives, and temporary structures for work access. It is the sole responsibility of the Bidder to obtain Addenda, if any. Such information may be obtained from online. (Posted Projects, Public Works, Clark County and Projects Bidding). Clark County accepts no responsibility or liability and will provide no accommodation to bidders who fail to check for addenda and submit inadequate or incomplete bids. Questions and requests for clarification must be submitted electronically. Responses will be posted electronically. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope with the Bidder's company name, project title, project number, bid opening date, and "SEALED BID" clearly marked on the outside of the envelope. Bids submitted by FAX or email will not be accepted. Each bid proposal must be accompanied by a bid deposit in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or proposal bond in an amount of at least five percent (5%) of the total bid. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into a contract and furnish a satisfactory contract bond, the bid deposit shall be forfeited to Clark County. Clark County, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award. Attendees are advised to wear appropriate attire including a hardhat, reflective vest, and 6 boots. Plan holders shall give notice of their intent to attend the pre-bid meeting to the Project Engineer by phone ***(564) 397-4582, *** no later than two business days in advance of the meeting. The meeting and site visit are expected to last a total of ***2 *** hours. The successful bidder shall provide executed payment and performance bond(s) for the full contract amount. The bond may be a combined payment and performance bond; or be separate payment and performance bonds. In the case of separate payment and performance bonds, each shall be for the full contract amount. Notice to Proceed will be given after the Contract has been executed and the contract bond and evidence of insurance have been approved and filed by the Contracting Agency. The Contractor shall not commence with the work until the Notice to Proceed has been given by the Engineer. The Contractor shall commence construction activities on the project site no earlier than *** July 8, 2024 *** and shall notify the Engineer in writing a minimum of 10 working days in advance of the date the Contractor intends to begin work. The Contractor shall diligently pursue the work to the physical completion date within the time specified in the Contract. Voluntary shutdown or slowing of operations by the Contractor shall not relieve the Contractor of the responsibility to complete the work within the time(s) specified in the Contract. This project shall be physically completed within *** 74 *** working days. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
