Reference Number 0000267601 Question Acceptance Deadline 2024/04/29 03:00:00 PM MDT This RFP is an invitation to submit offers for the provision of performing full preventative maintenance and callback services on elevating devices at RDP. All work must be performed in accordance with all applicable federal, provincial, and municipal laws, industry regulations, bylaws, codes, ordinances, standards, original manufacturers' maintenance programs, and as specified herein. Primary engagement will be with RDP's Campus Management Department. Contractor will be required to provide, at a minimum, the following services for the elevating devices at RDP: 1. Implement a full-service preventative maintenance program to include monthly inspections, Maintenance Control Program (MCP), corrective maintenance tasks, callbacks, emergency call response, repairs, etc. 2. Provide priority emergency service response on a 24-hour, year-round basis. Emergency calls are those that involve an entrapment or the shutdown of a unit impacting individuals with disabilities. 3. Provide same-day telephone response. 4. Meet on-demand service requirements and provide callback service during regular and after regular working hours. 5. Provide quality parts and materials and replace worn or failed parts as required to maintain elevating equipment in proper operating condition. 6. Take all necessary precautions to prevent the recurrence of issues. 7. Rectify any code violations or deficiencies noted by regulatory authorities during periodic inspections or by consultants immediately, no later than the time indicated on the inspection reports. 8. Accommodate requests for short lead times in the delivery of services. The RDP locations for which services will be required include: 1. RDP Main Campus and supporting grounds at 100 College Boulevard. 2. Gary W. Harris Canada Games Centre/ Centre des Jeux du Canada Gary W Harris ("Canada Games Centre") at 120 College Circle. 3. Residence Studio's at 109 College Circle. The selected proponent will be requested to enter into negotiations with RDP for the provision of the Services in Section 2 Service Specifics of this RFP. It is RDP's intention to enter into the Form of Agreement (Attachment 4) with only one (1) legal entity. The term of the agreement is to be for a period of five (5) years with an option in favour of RDP to extend the agreement on the same or similar terms and conditions for an additional two (2) year term.
