The City of McLoud/McLoud Public Works Authority is seeking bids for municipal standpipe repairs. Bid is for the repair and maintenance of two standpipes owned by the City of McLoud and McLoud Public Works Authority serving the City of McLoud and Mabel Bassett Prison. The City of McLoud reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids, waive any irregularities or technicalities without assigning any reason therefore, and to make the awards in the best interest of the Owner. (Bid shall be awarded to the lowest, best, responsive, and responsible bidder). No Bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Bids are solicited and a contract award will be made pursuant to the Public Competitive Bidding Act of 1974 as amended (Title 61, O.S. 1981, Sections 101- 136 et seq.). There is no express or implied obligation for the City of McLoud to reimburse Vendor for any expenses incurred in preparing proposals in response to this invitation. In the event that none of the bids are satisfactory to City of McLoud, no selection will be made. Bids submitted in response to this invitation become the property of City of McLoud and are subject to public inspection. City of McLoud reserves the right to modify the invitation contents and requirements at any time prior to the submission deadline.
