Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Orange Park, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; road / highway; and sidewalk / parking lot.

As of June 24, 2024, this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded on June 25, 2024. This primary project consists of widening the access road over the existing ditch and pipe culverts and involves removal and replacement of curb and gutter, existing end-walls and pipes and roadway reconstruction with new drainage connections. Additional work will consist of necessary clearing and grubbing, site fill and regrade, rip-rap channel banks, sidewalk connection and minor incidentals. The major work elements include, but are not limited to, the following: a. Clear, Grub and Demo existing conditions as necessary to perform proposed work in zone b. Follow all Erosion and Sediment Controls and M.O.T. Details c. Roadway reconstruction with curb & gutter d. New double pipe culverts with endwalls e. New curb inlet and drainage connection to ditch f. Site fill and re-grade g. Rip-rap channel banks h. Sidewalk connection and closed flume inlet i. Traffic detour with a portion to be coordinated on-site with the Town of Orange Park The bidders will be required to submit a Bid Bond equal to 5% of the bid with their Proposal. The successful bidder will be required, upon award, to furnish a 100% Performance and Payment Bond, with a Surety acceptable to Owner. Each bid proposal shall remain binding for at least 90 days after the scheduled bid date. The Owner shall have the right to reject any or all bids or to reject bids, which are in any way incomplete or irregular. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, to reject all bids and re-advertise, or to reject all bids without further action, in the Owner's best interest.
